Astarion

Astarion is a very particular person. Freedom of choice is paramount, as is allowing him space and privacy to be himself. He suffered over two centuries of torment at the hands of his cruel master, and is thus a complex person with many troubles. He is mercurial at times, but patience and quiet empathy have granted me some level of understanding into his heart, at least I hope that is so. As a fellow undead, we share a rare kinship that I feel draws me to him. I have seen him in moments of weakness and strength, fear and courage, and believe him to be a good and kind person despite his roguish nature. I cherish his friendship greatly, as he allows me to be myself without concern. I have thus far sworn two oaths in his name -- that I will not reveal the truth of his condition (if I can help it,) and that I will find him in Baldur's Gate once we inevitably leave this world. I look forward to whatever awaits us there, but pray such time does not come for a while yet.

Alucard Emery

Alucard is a rare and sly Paladin, a man who surrounds himself with lies and truth in equal measure. A powerful magician with a sense of justice, despite his way with words. I sense he has much to hide, and a heart that fears true connection. I hope my friendship allows him some respite from his constant social vigilance. He also has a beautiful cat.

Jarlaxle Bearne

Jarlale is the very picture of a "charming rogue." I do indeed find myself charmed by him. While I have stopped him at times from committing petty thefts and other such crimes, he is nonetheless possessed of a kind heart and fair judgment. He has shown responsibility in caring for me while I drank, and makes for an engaging and entertaining partner in bed. I know that our continued friendship will steer him towards the path of goodness, and do thus look forward to where such a path may lead.

An immortal shapeshifter of over one-thousand years, Nimona is a gentle soul who has suffered much at the hands of those who would judge her before understanding her. I hope that she is able to find purpose here beyond fear or doubt, and that she can embrace growing to care for others, despite her long life.

Professor Turo

A scholar from a distant land, I met Professor Turo at the Tattoo Parlor, where we discussed theories on the inner workings of this world's magic. He told me of the creatures in his world, called pokémon, who roam their lands and control the various elements. If the Leviathans should be akin to such beasts, he may be well-suited for unraveling the secrets of this strange land. We often take tea together in the mornings and evenings aboard the Royal Fortune. He is a gentle soul with a strong desire for research, though perhaps not to repeat the mistakes of his past.

Toge Inumaki

Having seemingly appeared in the middle of the ocean, I saved Toge from drowning and pulled him aboard the Royal Fortune. The boy speaks only in strange utterances of fish and food I do not recognize. He told me bears a curse upon his speech, which makes his words compel others regardless of his own intent. Though we are severed from our magic upon arrival, he may wish to avoid regaining his abilities, with a price so great. He would have my support regardless.

Dion Lesage

A fellow Paladin and a prince from a distant land, Dion is a skilled warrior who favors a lance. His demeanor is serious and stoic, similar to my own, and he carries a great weight on his shoulders, as it seems that several of his enemies have appeared through the Rifts as well. Though it seems they are not among the Paladins, which is surely a boon.

Tifa Lockhart

A friendly and kind-hearted woman, Tifa has offered me her aid when it comes to understanding friendships, and helped me with my make-up on an undercover quest in Nogard. espite the severity of the work, it was pleasant as ever to converse with her and share our thoughts on these strange circumstances we find ourselves in. It seems she may also have friends in the Corsairs, as I do. I hope that I can benefit from her insight and to foster a bond of camraderie as we grow to become friends.

Zack Fair

A charming, friendly Paladin who wields a giant sword with great prowess. Zack is a reliable, if reckless warrior who has fought and killed many monsters and believes in fighting for the greater good. I am fortunate to have such allies among the Paladins.

Benedikta Harman

A curious woman possessed of powerful magic. She attempted to seduce and bargain with me in her attempts to steal the artifacts which we were tasked with obtaining. Staying true to my duty, I did not waver. I was forced to Dispel her magic in order to calm her and reclaim that which she stole. She seemed truly angry with me for this, though I bear her no ill will. Perhaps if we meet again, under better circumstances, she may see reason.

Cidolfus Telamon

I worked alongside Cid Telamon for a mission which was a collaboration between Paladins and Corsairs. Our goal was to eliminate the threat of the cult which is known as PRESTA, a strange cult which reveres vegetables, and takes direct affront to the existence of candies and sweets. A strange charge by far, but cults are not known for their sense. Throughout the mission, Cid acted showed incredible skill in improvisation and leadership, the likes of which moved the cultists to his side. Had I been alone, the quest would no doubt have ended in bloodshed. His aid is instrumental, and I was quite moved by his skills.
