[ Xenk hums again. A cave and a beach... were they together often? Or was it just a coincidence, that they remembered two instances with one another? Xenk doesn't actually want to know. It's weird enough that he's remembered dragon-men and now Edgin has remembered some kind of brain monster. ]

What else do you recall from your memory? Was the woman with horns there as well?

[ Simon was there too (sorry, Simon) but pointy ears is kind of less weird than horns and a tail. ]

Yeah, she was standing next to me. Her hair was...red or brown, maybe?

[ He doesn't have darkvision :( ]

[ It's ok buddy, you have it now... though maybe that would tell you something, if Xenk actually remembered this part with perfect clarity, that is. ]

Red, I believe. How interesting. Perhaps she was a mutual acquaintance.

[ I mean, if they're remembering stuff with each other, there's no reason she can't be... ]

I have searched among the thralls of the castle and have not found any that share appearances with those I recall. Besides you.

[ Edgin frowns. Hard to see in the dark. It's been awhile since that was the case. ]

There was also...a woman with giant muscles I was very fond of for some reason, and a younger, scared guy. I haven't seen anyone like them before, either.

[ Xenk nods. It wouldn't surprise him to hear that they were human in a past life. After all, they were... already human in a "past life" so to speak. Though it seems they at least didn't have pointed ears or horns or anything. ]

I see. [ Hm, yes, Xenk is pointedly ignoring how he felt in the memory, don't ask him about it. ] I recall the younger one, I believe. Were his ears pointed?

[ He seemed nice, he said Xenk was good at everything :) ]

Yeah, I think so.

[ What was his name? It feels like it's on the very edge of the memory, but he can't quite grasp it. ]

Guess none of us were very intelligent, though.

[ Xenk makes a face. Why does Edgin always insult him!!! ]

[ he pulls out his journal from a bag and sketches down a picture of what it looked like and then holds it up for Xenk. ]

[ Xenk stares at the drawing with interest. This is... a really weird creature. Weirder than a dragon person? Yeah, maybe. Damn. He would not have believed Edgin about this a month ago, that's for sure. ]

[ That's not helpful, but there you go. ]

[ Edgin's drawing skills are not bad, considering he had to draw this completely from memory. ]

I expected perhaps... some manner of eyes or teeth on the creature.

[ How would it just know who's intelligent? This is so weird. Maybe I should give Xenk the mind flayer memory next. ]

This past life we share... it seems somewhat fantastical.

[ He wouldn't believe it himself if he hadn't seen the dragon guy tbh. ]

Of course. I hardly believe we shared a life in any sense besides existing in the same place, at the same time.
