He's gonna notice the ears. He stills when he does, but he kind of just keeps it going. He'd seen people with pointed ears in one of his memories. If Lydia is one of those, then..... okay. ]

[Who would have guessed this is how Xenk learns to have emotions! She's not going to complain in the slightest because he feels like a human instead of some weird kind of alien trying to pretend to have human emotions.

Oh, she notices his stilling, a brow raising in question. The whole ears thing, she assumes, since she'd mostly come to terms with it by now, it's... still weird to some people. He hasn't really seen her since then, has he?]

[ He slides his hands up, then around, to take one of those pointed tips between his thumb and forefinger, rubbing the soft cartilage. ]

Is this some manner of modification to your ears?

[Incredible! The awkward is more cute and endearing when he's not being an entire dick about things, so all thing sin balance.

Though when she's about to answer is when his thumb and forefinger finds the tip of an ear and she immediately has a full body shiver and squirming a bit under his touch. It's not in a sexual kind of way, however, more that it just feels good in general.]

Be careful, they're sensitive. [Meaning a good target to get her on the off foot.] Mm. They just appeared like this one morning not too long after the whole goat burning fiasco. Unsure why, but no one has said much otherwise about them. [Except her blood bond idiot, but that was to be expected considering the panic initially.] Do you think they look odd?

They are not odd. I have seen similar ears before, in a memory.

[It's absolutely interesting and at least the touch this time has her more melting into his lap and shifting just a bit to get more contact with those fingers. She's certainly enjoying it, which is far more than she expected she would.]

In a memory? I was certain these were only something you head of in stories. [Certainly she's curious and she has the time to indulge in this if he wishes, as long as he keeps up the attention, she certainly has nowhere else to go that's important.]
